More Fantastic Finds and the Super Awesome Craigslist Freebie!

Now that the weather is getting nicer the yard sales and outdoor flea sales are kicking in to high gear.  This past weekend we made a few stops and scored big!  Check out the loot!

Pretty Peachy Tin Set

Lustreware Bowl

Sweet Vintage Apron

Heart Pocket

2 Maryland Milk Bottles

Metal Peanut Butter Cup/Milk Bottle Carrier (they sold it with votive holders)

Set of 14 (out of 18) Framable Bird Prints

Crewel Owl Pillow for Everett's Room

Old Book for Everett's Room-  Perfect!

$ .25 an item-  I came home with quite a few pieces including some silhouette earrings for $2.00!

4 Pink Pillowcases for Elise's Room

I will reminisce back to one of my auction tips and say even at yard/flea sales "SPEAK UP".  I came home with quite a few items but I also lost an awesome deal because I was off to the side discussing whether we could fit it in the car or not. :(  The jadeite green, chippy, old doctor's scale could have been mine for 15 bucks, but I didn't speak up and someone swooped in (in the 2 minutes I was discussing) and bought it out from under me.  Moral to the story.........If you like something, MAKE IT KNOWN to the buyer before you discuss!

And now, check out the freebie we scored off of Craigslist last night!

Each drawer has a key and the keys were all still with it!

My husband has been scouring Craigslist for something similar to this and you just can't beat FREE!  Plus, IT'S AWESOME!  Seven drawers each with their own key.  Yay!  Can't wait to find a spot in the house to put this baby.

Now it's your turn to share.  What great items have you scored from yard sales, flea markets, thrift stores, and Craigslist recently?
